The celebration takes place on
Friday 2 July 2027, from 4:00pm!
We're opting out of a traditional wedding ceremony. We'll be taking care of the formalities with our witnesses earlier in the day, then sharing a symbolic ceremony and celebration with everyone at the reception.
We're celebrating at the Old Museum Building in Bowen Hills. There is no onsite parking, so public transport, taxis or rideshare are the way to go.
Please come dressed in cocktail attire. Wear something snazzy and comfortable for an evening of dining and dancing.
Our wedding will be a joyful and proudly queer celebration, with drag, burlesque and other LGBTQIA+ entertainment throughout the evening.
We completely understand that this may not be everyone's cup of tea, and if it isn't yours, we would be very happy to celebrate together another time.
We simply ask that everyone who joins us embraces the occasion with kindness and respect, including respecting others' names, pronouns, and identities.
You are very welcome to take photos and videos throughout the celebration — we only ask that phones don't get in the way of being present in the moment. Keep your phones on silent during speeches and performances. You are welcome to share your photos on social media and tag us, and we would love for you to contribute them to our shared wedding album using the QR codes available throughout the venue.
Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with ramp access available via the front entrance. If you have any other access needs, please get in touch — we want everyone to be comfortable.
We have chosen to make our wedding a strictly 18+ celebration. This is partly due to venue capacity, and partly because some of the evening's entertainment, including drag and burlesque performances, will feature adult themes. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the celebration just for grown-ups.
